He came in with a parcel and asked me: "You know the postman came just now?"
"Hmmm.... I heard the horn, but I thought it was the neighbour."
So he sat down and started removing the outer layer of the parcel. I just carried on with my reading, thought he got parcel for his research.
After revealing the 2nd layer which was wrapped with colorful wrapping paper, he passed that to me: "Nah, this is for you."
I looked at him with exhausted eyes (signal of: enough to fool me, I am not in the mood to be fooled ). He likes to cheat me to see my funny expressions, and I used to layan to keep him happy. Haha.
He said: "Seriously this is for you, thanks for editing and correcting my manuscripts. "
Oh wow, now I got bonus to be an editor! At least I know he appreciates what I did for him all these years.
Should I con him for a fine dinner then?! (*evil laugh, LOL!!!)
